Thank you for your interest in the Princess Royale Condominiums. The detailed information below is provided to assist in your vacation planning at our hotel & provide you with information from our most frequently asked questions.
Condo Descriptions & Polices:
The Princess Royale has 30 two & three bedroom oceanfront condos located on floors 6-10. There are 3 condos on each floor in both our north & south towers; one is a three bedroom & the other two are 2 bedroom.
The Princess Royale has 6 three bedroom oceanfront condos w/three full baths & large direct oceanfront balconies. These units sleep a max of 10. Two of the three bedrooms face the ocean as well as the living room; the 3rd bedroom does not have a view. All 3 bedroom condos have fully equipped kitchen, dining area, washer and dryer & all have a jacuzzi in the master bedroom. All units include blow dryers, iron w/board & electronic safe. There is a television in each bedroom & the living room. There is always a king bed in the master bedroom & a queen sleep sofa in the living room. With regard to other two bedrooms, the configuration is based on the owner’s preference. Some have doubles while others have queens and still others have bunks. Again, we are happy to accept requests & will do our absolute best to honor all requests but cannot guarantee. It is very important that ALL adults & ALL children regardless of age are registered. The three bedroom condo rate is based on up to 6 adults & children under 12 are free. Persons over the age of 12 are considered adults & are $20.00 per person, per night additional. We do have a limited number of Pac & Plays (no full size cribs) at $15.00 per night, plus tax. PLEASE be sure you have reserved the correct total number of guests regardless of age, as wrist bands will be required to access the pool/arcade area. A max of two parking permits are available. We also offer valet parking in the summer at $9.95 per night, plus tax. If desired, please ask at check in. As there is only one three bedroom condo on each floor, should you and/or family & friends reserve a second 3 bedroom, they will be on different floors. Please do not remove linen/towels from the condo. Please do not hang clothing or blankets over the balcony railings.
We have 22 two bedroom oceanfront condo condos with 2 full baths & sleep a max of 8. One bedroom faces the ocean as well as the living room; the 2nd bedroom does not have a view. All 2 bedroom condos have fully equipped kitchen with washer & dryer All units include blow dryers, iron w/board and electronic safe. There is a television in each bedroom & living room. There is always a queen sleep sofa in the living. The bed configuration is based on owner’s preference. Some units have one bed in the master, some units have two beds in the master. Some bedding is king, while other queen and others gave double beds. Your reservation guarantees you 3 beds as well as a queen sleep sofa. Again, we are happy to accept requests & will do our best to honor requests but cannot guarantee. It is very important that ALL adults and ALL children regardless of age are registered. The two bedroom condo rate is based on up to 4 adults & children under 12 are free. Persons over the age of 12 are considered adults & are $20.00 per person, per night additional. All linens are provided daily by Housekeeping except beach towels which you will want to bring. The Town of Ocean City provides beach rentals of umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, etc and there is a beach stand directly in front of the hotel on the beach; just look for the blue boxes along the beach. There are towels available at the pool. Please do not remove linen/towels from the condo. Please do not hang clothing or blankets over the balcony railings.
Reservations for the two bedroom & three bedroom condos will be accepted, based on availability, for ANY arrival/departure pattern with only a three (3) night minimum required in July & August for the weekend and a four (4) night minimum required in July & August for weekdays.
While we love pets, please make other vacation arrangements for your pet as not permitted.
Wifi is FREE & available in each condo, NO password is needed.
The electronic safe in every condo is $1.50 per day; regardless of use. This fee is reflected on your hotel bill as separate charge for our insurance purposes. Please utilize your safe for the protection of your valuables. Likewise, your valuables being secured in your safe to which only you have the 4 digit code alleviates any question of staff misplacing these items.
PAYMENT POLICY INFORMATION:
One night’s deposit (including tax) is due at the time of reservation. A confirmation will be sent after we have received your deposit. The Credit card given must be able to be charged the deposit amount at the time of the reservation.
The FULL balance due will be billed to your credit card 30 days prior to arrival.
If your bank for any reason declines the deposit or the balance due, the reservation will be cancelled. We cannot hold condominiums that are not paid in full 30 days prior to arrival.
Reservations made less than 30 days prior to arrival require full payment at the time of reservation.
Upon arrival, the Front Desk clerk will require the credit card used as well as a photo ID that matches the name on the credit card be presented. There are no exceptions to this policy as we comply with the bank and credit card company rules to ensure there is no fraud or identity theft.
The second question asked at check in will be if you want the credit card “left on file”. Leaving a credit card on file means you will be provided with a card along with your key that allows you to simply sign for charges at the bars, restaurant, room service, convenience store, beach stand, etc and not have to present the card at those areas. Leaving a card on file also means that your account is going to be AUTHORIZED (not charged) for the equivalent of $50.00 per night at the time of your arrival. Accordingly, if you are staying 7 nights, $350.00 will be authorized at check in. If you have a debit account this WILL reflect your available balance. Again, this is not a charge; it is an authorization. Any portion not used, your bank will simply release the hold 3-5 business days after departure. If your charges go over the amount authorized the Front Desk will reauthorize the card as those charges appear.
Cancellations for ANY reason for 2 and 3 bedroom condo reservations arriving in July & August MUST be received a minimum of 30 days prior to arrival. Please note that this policy cannot be waived; even in cases of emergency; there are no exceptions. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to arrival result in full forfeiture of the full rental amount including taxes.
All cancellations, even those made more than 30 days prior to arrival, are subject to a $100.00+ tax ($106.00) processing fee. Should you cancel your reservation 30 or more days prior to arrival, your deposit will be refunded less a $100.00+tax ($106.00) processing fee.
CHECK IN AND CHECKOUT INFORMATION
Check-in time is after 4:00 p.m. Condos are rarely available before 4pm in July and August so please plan accordingly and we highly suggest you do not arrive early with perishable foods as we do not have storage available for these items. However, you are welcome to arrive as early as you like & obtain a parking permit You may use all the facilities of the hotel and the beach until your condo is available; again this is usually 4:00 p.m. during the summer. Your luggage will need to remain in your vehicle until your condo is ready so we suggest that if you plan to arrive early you have a carry on style bag with anything that you may need to enjoy your day prior to 4pm; changing room are available.
Check-out time is before 11:00 a.m. While departing 30-60 minutes late may not seem significant, it means that the next family is getting in 30-60 minutes late which IS significant. Accordingly, we are very strict regarding our check out time and therefore simply request that all guest be considerate of and check out promptly prior to 11am; just as we asked the guest in your unit on your arrival day. All guests need to completely vacate the condo & then check out at the Front desk prior to 11:00 a.m. Please do NOT check out until all items and guests have vacated the unit. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Condos still occupied at 11:00 a.m. are subject to hourly late check-out fees. You are welcome to use the beach and facilities for the remainder of the day on your departure date. Changing rooms are available & your vehicle may remain on property until 4:00 p.m. on the day of your departure. We appreciate your courtesy.
