"Dorothea Calabrese, the Sales Manager; and Carrie Baker, the catering manager were so helpful in every way in the pre-convention planning and implementation. We began working together about two months prior to the convention and communicated on an almost daily basis. Every question I had was answered promptly; every issue that came up was handled efficiently and to my satisfaction. On check-in day, the front desk/rooming staff (Marticia especially) were instrumental in making sure all 900 of our participants got into their rooms easily and were happy with their rooms (with only a few exceptions!! You can't please everyone!!). We are contracted to have our convention headquarters at the Royale again next year, and are looking forward to working with Michael, Dorothea, Carrie and Marticia again in 2013! "We arrived early and the front desk was kind enough to give us an early check in. We stayed in the side ocean view suite. it was lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable and the queen beds were the perfect size. The room was large and clean. I went down to the bar to have a drink our bartender was friendly and knew what he was doing. We had breakfast in the restaurant the next morning, Our server was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and it was not overpriced. We need a late check out till 1p.m and they allowed us to stay with no extra charge. We loved the hotel and are planning to go back there again. "

"Our unit was beautiful! Have been coming to Ocean City for 15 years. Stayed at other places, but this was great! Would be very interested in a week rental next year - 2 or 3 bedroom condominium. Great place to stay, clean, people were exceptional!"

"We just held our Women's retreat at the Princess and everything was great. Our suites were clean with plenty of room and we LOVED the tempur pedic beds! The food was good and the weather was beautiful(for March!). "We served 350 of our employees and their families at the Princess Royale and eveyrthing went unbelievably well. The staff was professional, prompt, and courteous. All of out catered meals were excellent. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Location was excellent. We will not hesitate to return to this same venue. "

"Our cheerleading group stayed at the Princess Royale the weekend of Feb 26th - Feb 28th for the Reach the Beach competition. As the secretary for our organization this was the first hotel I called as I have stayed there many times in the winter and it was also a sponsor hotel for the competition. Our organization has stayed at numerous hotels in past years and none can compare to the Princess Royale, I arrived a day early just in casr there were any issues during check in for the parents and was pleased that there were none. I introduced myself to the people in group sales and they were extremely friendly and accomodating. I never experienced any issues with noise, which can happen when you have 500 cheerleaders in a hotel. I had a pool level room and when the sliding glass door was closed the room was very quiet even when the pool was packed with the cheerleaders. The pool is huge and was a great amenity for the kids as well as the parents. The beds are extremely comfortable as they are tempurpedic and you just sink into luxury when you are sleeping. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious with all the comforts of home. Great for when you are traveling with family as you have a seperate living room and bedroom. The rooms were very clean with plenty of towels and pillows. The sauna and hot tubs were wonderful as well. The parents in our organization just raved about the hotel with no complaints at all. Our organization has already booked again for next years competition.

If you want and ocean front room try to get a corner room because the balcony wraps around and you get the extra bonus of having a veiw of the bay as well. My husband is a very light sleeper but has always had the best nights sleep in the comfy beds at this hotel. Noise has never been a problem. My husband loves the pool as he like to swim laps and the pool is extremely large and is great for laps. We have eaten in the restaurant a couple of times for brunch and it has always been good. It is great having 2 tv's as he can watch his sports and I can watch what I like as well. We typically do not go to Ocean City during the summer because we don't like the crowds but I have a friend who stays there at least 2 times a summer for family vacations and they would stay no where else. They have even been upgraded a couple time to a 2 bedroom condo.
I highly recommend this hotel for all your stays in ocean city."

"Our youth sports club had the pleasure of staying at the Princess Royale while visiting Ocean City for a soccer tournament this month. The entire staff of the Princess Royale was friendly and extremely accommodating, they made our entire stay a pleasure. The suites were vary spacious, clean and had a great view of the atrium pool area and the ocean. The hotel offers such amenities as a restaurant, bar, indoor olympic size swimming pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, sauna, pool side arcade and workout room, The location of the hotel was perfect as well. There was plenty of restaurants and entertainment close by. The kids were never bored at this hotel! We look forward to coming back again next year. "

"We were traveling to OC, MD for my youngest state gymnastics meet and wanted to make a long weekend out of the trip. Needed an indoor pool because of it being the off season. Indoor pool was AWESOME for my kids. For a heated pool, I must say it was a little cold though. The rooms were just average. That being said, they were CLEAN and this is the most important thing for us. The facility itself was awesome. We arrived early expecting to just hang out at the pool, and when we went to the front desk, our room was ready, so they let us check in. The staff at the resort was great. We needed some extra towels one night and they brought them right to us. Our room overlooked the pool and you could see the ocean. We had a very peaceful stay here! Would definitely stay again! "

"The hotel with its enormous indoor swimming pool was the perfect spring weekend getaway for us (couple with two boys 11 & 13)! Not only was it priced right, but we also got a free night, using the 'welcome back' coupon that we downloaded from their website. We got the oceanfront bedroom suite on the fourth floor.... I loved it compared to the pool-view suites because it was very private and quiet. Princess Royale is clean inspite of the fact that it’s an older hotel. I think it’s worth the trip. The staff was all accommodating and friendly, they even let us have a late checkout....suppose to be 11 am, but they let us stay till 1pm. It’s nice too that the pool was open till very late....10 pm! Will definitely be back again! "

"We had planned on staying 3 days and 2 nights there, but our children were having so much fun, we decided to stay an extra night! In doing so, the staff at the front desk acted like they were extremely excited that we were staying also! They upgraded our room to a larger suite for the same price! You can't ask for service any better that that! I will definitely return to this establishment! Thank you for making our little vacation memorable! "
