Every March thousands of people flock to the beach to experience St. Patrick’s Day, Ocean City Maryland Style. It has become one of the busiest off season weekends in the beach town and the 2nd largest St. Patrick’s Day parade in Maryland offering locals and visitors alike the opportunity to be Irish for the weekend. Many local businesses get in the spirit and deck out their establishments with Irish themed decorations and food & drink specials.
The Princess Royale is the perfect place to enjoy your Irish Weekend. The weekend officially kicks off Saturday at noon with the Parade marching down coastal highway from 57thStreet to the 45th Street Shopping Center. There are over 100 floats from 3 different states in this year’s parade. After the parade, check out the Irish village located at the parades finishing point, 45th Street. Their you can enjoy Irish food, drinks, music, and apparel.
